Merry Little Christmas

This morning I was sitting here at my desk, sipping my coffee and I was listening to Sarah McLachlan sing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas". I started thinking about the words and how just listening to that song and thinking about being with family over the holidays makes your heart light and takes your troubles away. I can not wait to gather with with faithful friends that are dear to me. This Christmas my WHOLE family will be together!

"Have yourself a merry little Christmas,

Let your heart be light

From now on,

our troubles will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,

Make the Yule-tide gay,

From now on, our troubles will be miles away.

Here we are as in olden days,

Happy golden days of yore.

Faithful friends who are dear to us

Gather near to us once more.

Through the years

We all will be together,

If the Fates allow

Hang a shining star upon the highest bough.

And have yourself A merry little Christmas now. "
