We had a much needed weekend away from the city. Ryan had vacation time so we hopped in the ol' Element and took off to Thomaston. We stopped in Griffin for a fun night with his friends, Ashley and Chad. Saturday we woke up and headed to t-town for the Emancipation Proclamation parade (pictures to come). It was definately a cultura; experience for Ryan. That evening we headed to the "bottom" to camp and have fun with the family. And fun is what we had INDEED!
The highlights of the night were:
1. Matt calling Ryan his brother in law:)
2. Calling Will and singing as loud as we could into his voicemail.
3. Everyone telling each other how much we loved each other on Melvin's Hill followed with "this is what life is all about"
4. Toasting to Daddy for serving our country and just for being Daddy, period
5. Sitting around talking about everything under the sun
6. Chuney rolling up in his ol green truck
7. Matt's stories being really funny
8. Boiled peanuts
We really missed Will and Kristie! This is going to be our new Memorial Day tradition so y'all go ahead and plan on traveling next year for the 2nd Annual Bentley Bottom Camp Trip/Float!
